Lightning Transport Inc is an asset-based refrigerated trucking company headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, with our fleet yard in nearby Cliffwood. With a fleet of 80+ late-model tractor trailers and refrigerated units, we move temperature-sensitive freight safely and on time — coast to coast.

Operating since 2014, we've built our business around consistency, transparency, and direct communication with shippers.

24/7 Shipment Updates

Customers can request updates from our around-the-clock dispatch team by phone or email, or receive Samsara-based visibility when preferred.

Temperature Visibility

Trailer sensor data is transmitted through Samsara. Temperature information can be made available to customers for shipment visibility and documentation.

Standard experienced drivers start at $0.70 CPM. Extensive experience may qualify for $0.75 CPM to start. Each driver is paid for their own miles.

Held your CDL-A for at least two years but have little or no professional experience? Qualified drivers can train at $0.55 per mile until graduation.

Solo OTR starts at a flat $325 per day. If you're in the truck for the workday, you're paid whether you're driving or waiting to load or unload.

A $325/day solo position, typically 3–6 days per week, for drivers who want to be home almost every day while remaining available for nearby deliveries.
